

Target: The goal is to create an effective system of interaction between employers and the University to improve the quality of practical training of specialists and increase the level of employment of University graduates by expanding and strengthening cooperation with relevant enterprises and organizations.
Tasks: coordination and control of activity of departments on organization of all kinds of practices, rendering assistance to students and university graduates in employment; expansion and support of partnership in employment of graduates.
The Kazakh University of Technology and Business carries out systematic work in the field of professional practice management, employment promotion and creation of conditions for effective career building by graduates. In 2019, 745 graduates received diplomas of our university, 41 of them - with honors.
Every year the university holds meetings with employers in the format of round tables, seminars and master-classes aimed at developing and adjusting the content of educational programs that meet the requirements of the modern labor market. To date, the University has concluded 160 agreements on cooperation, including on professional practice.
The Internship and Employment Centre annually offers to participate in the traditional "job fair". Applicants who have registered in the framework of the project "Job Fair" have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the list of vacancies of organizations and enterprises.Within the framework of the annual "Job Fair" students leave their CVs to employers, get answers to their questions and pass interviews. Following the results of the "Job Fair", a preliminary agreement between the employer and a graduate is signed. Those wishing to improve their level of education continue their studies in the magistracy.
KazUTB graduates who wished to return to their regions after graduation, but did not decide on the choice of work in their field of study, can contact the Center for Internship and Employment. In this case, motions are sent to regional Chambers of Entrepreneurs, Employment Centers to support these graduates in their employment. This allows unemployed graduates of our university, if there are vacancies, to be employed in their region in accordance with their qualification..
KazUTB has concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Nur-Sultan, "Employment Centre" of Nur-Sultan City Akimat. Representatives of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Nur-Sultan city conduct business trainings, citywide job fair and other events allowing students and graduates of the university to get necessary information and advice on employment issues. Employees of the Nur-Sultan Akimat Employment Centre annually provide information on available vacancies in Nur-Sultan, inform about temporary jobs available for KazUTB graduates in order to gain initial experience and work experience. The Government for Citizens, upon request of the University, also provides information on employment opportunities for graduates. Thus, the training of competitive specialists is a priority for KazUTB, and employment of graduates in accordance with their specialty is one of the main activities of the university.
