The educational and research laboratory complex at the Faculty of Technology

The educational and research laboratory complex at the Faculty of Technology was created on December 21, 2017.

The purpose of the educational - research laboratory complex: the creation of an educational center for students of the Faculty of Technology in general physics, chemistry, biology and other special subjects. At the same time, improving theoretical knowledge and their connection with practice, gaining knowledge in a laboratory equipped with modern equipment.

The main tasks of the laboratory complex:

  • to form the legal, methodological and material basis for the functioning of the ERLC;
  • preparation and maintenance of equipment for laboratory work at a higher and higher quality level, with the introduction of innovative technologies used in production in the chosen specialty;
  • continuous verification, control and maintenance of laboratory equipment in working condition. Timely troubleshooting and updating of existing laboratory equipment;
  • update the material and technical base of the ERLC for research and development.
  • Development of communication with leading scientists of higher educational institutions, research organizations and institutes of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The material and technical base of the educational research laboratory complex.

To perform laboratory work, there are necessary facilities and communications, including boxes for working with microorganisms. The rooms are equipped with exhaust ventilation and comply with sanitary standards. Research is carried out in accordance with the current standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, instructions, rules, guidelines. The laboratories at the Department of Technology and Standardization are equipped with the necessary equipment, laboratory experiments, scientific research conducted by students in determining the physicochemical and biochemical properties of food products, as well as assessing the quality of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products for compliance with the requirements of the State Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Laboratories at other departments are also equipped with the necessary equipment.

In laboratories, the following work is possible:

  • study of the physico-chemical, biochemical properties of air, natural drinking water, soil and wastewater;
  • carrying out work on electrical engineering and circuit technology;
  • development of new biotechnologies for food products
  • intensification of technological processes in the food industry
  • Development of biotechnology for the deep processing of grain raw materials for the production of composite flour and bakery products with high nutritional and biological value with therapeutic and prophylactic properties
  • checking the color fastness of the fabric with dry and wet friction
